Established in 2010, So Sensational Cakes was born out of a mother's love, for my children and a passion for creating beautiful thing memorable moments.
Way back then, I was encouraged to go into business because clearly I had knack for creating beautiful things, and so for 10 years I did with great fun and great pleasure.
As time passed, my personal health journey took me and my business on an unexpected turn as I discovered the incredible benefits of a low-carb and ketogenic lifestyle. Inspired by my own health transformation and constantly learning about the detrimental effects of sugar and the excessive consumption of processed carbohydrates have on our long term health, I made a conscious decision to pivot my baking and decorating expertise towards serving the ever-growing low-carb and keto community, and I couldn't consciously continue to go with the status quo, how do I create and sell something I won't eat... and so I went away for a while to pivot and my craft.
